Poinsettia pendant made exclusively from HDPE plastic bottles, drinks caps and scraps of acrylic that were once destined for landfill.
Pretty Rubbish is a brand that offers unique, handcrafted jewellery and homeware made from recycled materials, created by Maria Terry Design. Each product is one-of-a-kind, and there may be slight variations in colour, shape, or size. No two products are the same, and the celebration is in the imperfections!

Each Pretty Rubbish item is unique due to the nature of recycled materials and the handmade process. As a result:

Colours, textures, and shapes may vary slightly from product images

Studs are an average of 1.5–2cm diameter

The largest statement earrings have a maximum length of 7-8 cm

Metal earring backs are not nickel free or suitable for sensitive skin… but we are working on this!

Products are made from melted HDPE plastics, which include drinks bottles, milk cartons and bottle caps. You may even see some text melted down from the bottle caps that says ‘Recycle Me’!

Any other materials incorporated into the designs for structural or decorative purposes are solely made up of reclaimed materials from local workshops, such as discarded cast acrylic.
